Editorial standards
Natural Healing Now is a directory of holistic practitioners with a blog that answers the questions patients ask before they book: what a practitioner can and can't do, what it costs, what insurance covers, and what the evidence says. This page explains how we write and check that content.
Where our facts come from
- We cite primary sources: state statutes and licensing boards, IRS publications, Medicare and CMS, the FDA, the NIH and NCCIH, clinical guidelines, and peer-reviewed studies on PubMed.
- Each factual claim links to its source where it is made.
- Where sources disagree, or we could not confirm a detail, we say so in the article rather than guess. Unconfirmed details are left out.
- Prices come only from what a practice publishes itself, with the date we checked them.
What we don't do
- We don't promise that any therapy will cure, heal or reverse a condition.
- We report what the evidence supports and where it falls short, including well-known criticism of the practitioners and products we cover.
- We have no affiliate relationships with the products we review. See our affiliate disclosure.
How articles are checked
Each article is checked claim by claim against its sources by our editorial team before it is published, and again when laws, prices or guidance change. Every article shows when it was last updated. Our articles are not yet reviewed by a licensed clinician; we will name the reviewer on each article when that review is in place.
Corrections
If you spot an error or an out-of-date fact, please tell us through our contact page. We correct confirmed errors and update the article's date.
